Inviting Wildlife into Your Garden

Laurie Bebick

June 23, 2026
Social time 7pm * Meeting time 7:30pm

at Sacred Heart Parish Hall, 62 School St, Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA

Ecosystems are becoming fragmented. Pollinator numbers are decreasing. And climate change is a reality. As gardeners, we need to create safe havens for our local wildlife. One way to do that is to provide food, water, and shelter. Learn simple ways to adapt your garden and gardening habits to welcome all sorts of our fellow creatures.

Laurie Bebick, a graduate of the Mass. Master Gardener Training Program and a long-time gardener, has been fascinated by nature her whole life. A practicing fine artist, Laurie approaches gardening as both art and science, always with an eye toward supporting nature’s creatures. When not working as a Certified Vet. Tech., Laurie can be found in her home garden (called Catmoon Haven), spying on and greeting the flora and fauna.
